Iran War 2026: The Conflict the 2025 Strikes Did Not End
Operation Midnight Hammer in June 2025 was a real historical event, not 2026 news. The major 2026 development came on February 28, when U.S. and Israeli attacks opened a new war with Iran. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed, and Iran later selected Mojtaba Khamenei as its new paramount leader.
A major regional rupture
The conflict affected far more than nuclear facilities. It intensified fighting across the region, disrupted shipping and energy markets, and placed civilians and minority religious communities at further risk.
This is why the older blog post should keep its June 23, 2025 date. Backdating or forward-dating it would collapse two distinct chapters into one and make the site less trustworthy.
Persia and prophecy
Bible readers naturally notice Persia in Ezekiel 38. We can say confidently that modern Iran occupies the heartland of ancient Persia. We cannot say confidently that every present battle is the final fulfillment of that passage. The proper posture is watchful humility, urgent prayer and faithful witness.
